Our lovely lovebird, GirlGirl, had passed away this afternoon. She has given us lots of laughter and joy. Never did I thought that in less than a year, she left us. For she had always been so active and cheerful.
Both BoyBoy and her came to our house when they are only a few weeks old. Watching her growing up day by day and understanding her character. Biting stripes of paper to build up the nest for her eggs, being a playing partner to BoyBoy and learning the whistles we taught them "wee ee wee".
BoyBoy is looking for her, wandering here and there and keeps on whistleing the usual conversation hoping her playing partner will answer her back, but no matter how hard she tried to call on her playing partner, still no response from her. Usually at this time they will be sleeping in their nest, but BoyBoy sound can still be heard. Im wondering whether she knows that her playing mate had left her???BoyBoy's behaviour is really unusual as she is shouting so loud.
Looking at her really sours my heart. Hoping that BoyBoy will soon know that she needs to be independent from today on...
